DIY Men's Jewelry Valet

My hubby has been keeping all of his man bling in this old watch box. For Christmas, I decided to make something to keep everything organized.

John only wears cuff links and a watch. He was wearing some of the stuff when I took this picture, but the large space at the bottom can actually fit his watch.

The crazy thing about this little valet...it only costed me a buck!

I bought it as a "wood shelf" from the dollar store.

Then I simply painted it, mod podged some scrapbook paper in the bottom, and sanded a few edges! It was so easy and my hubby loves it!

I love it! I bought my hubby a valet for a wedding gift when we got married. I spent far too much money on it and have it monogrammed from Pottery Barn. I wish I had though of this 3 years ago!

Hi Nicholette, what a fabulous idea. Who would have thought you had bought it at the Dollar Store. I always say, you can find lots of great things there. Thanks for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
