Paper Rose Tutorial

I just have to say that this was one of the funnest crafts I've done in a long time! It was super simple and it turned out pretty decent, too. (I got the idea from here)

 Beautiful.

What you will need:
-Cardstock (colored on both sides preferrably)
-Scissors and a pencil
-Hot glue gun
-long sticks
-vase

1. The first thing you want to do is trace a circular spiral on your cardstock with a pencil. I made mine all different sizes for a more natural effect. You don't really want it smaller than like two-ish inches.
 2. You will have a spiral that looks like this. Start and the outside end of the circle and start rolling it inward (just like you're rollin' a doobie).
PS I'm not really a doobie roller.

 3. I don't have pictures of this step, but once you have a rolled up, let it go a little loose so it gets bigger and then got glue the back, placing the little circle from the spiral on the very bottom. Your rose will look something like this....

4. Hot glue your roses onto different sized sticks and place in a nice looking vase!

I just made some paper peonies. I'm trying some new things out on them to make them look a little more realistic but you can see them on my blog.
