Printable Wedding Gift

My husband and I recently went to a wedding for someone who my husband knew on his mission. This was actually his second marriage which we figured, that meant his wife and I would probably have most things a young, newly wed couple didn't. So we wanted to make something a little more personal to give them.





Lucky for me I found this awesome site with free printables for all the states (at least I think they have all of them). All I had to do was go into PicMonkey--my new all-time favorite site--and do some editing! The frame was originally black, but I spray painted it gray to match the color scheme.

Paper Family Tree

       I didn't come up with this idea. Actually, one of my friends made something similar to this at one of those JoAnne classes. I altered the idea a little bit to my taste.




       I added the "Sperry" sign. I thought it looked a little plain without it. Everything was cut out using my Silhouette. On the last couple layers of leaves I added Glue Dots to give the leaves more depth. The names are actually just hand written with a Sharpie Pen, that way I can add more kids names easily.
