Saturday Spotlight #88

Hey there! I'm back from a nice little cruise the hubby and I took but I'm excited to be back and to get crafting again!

My last project was my Tie Snake, come check it out if you haven't. It's a great gift for a little boy.

RULES:

1) First, create a blog entry about something you made yourself. Post our Saturday Spotlight button under your post or somewhere on your blog so that others can find all of your awesome links at Saturday Spotlight. Our linky party button is on the right side of our blog. Just copy the html code to the bottom of your blog post. If you would like to keep it somewhere else on your blog where others can see it, that's also ok.
2) Next, add your blog post name down below and then add the link of the blog entry about your project (not your homepage) . To get your link, click on the title of your blog post that you would like to enter and then copy the address that appears in the address bar up top, and paste it down below. Tie Snake

 I haven't made many little boy crafts lately, but Jack's little friend had a birthday this past month and I just couldn't resist making this cute snake! My Jack loved this snake so much, I'm going to have to make one for him!

 

What you will need:

-one tie

-stuffing

-googly eyes

-small piece of felt (for tongue)

-small bottle filled with beans (for rattle)

-twine

-hot glue gun

 1. Starting from the small end, begin stuffing your tie ( I used scissors to push the stuffing in further).

2. Once you get a little more than halfway done with the stuffing. Begin the same process at the large end of the tie.

3. After you are finished with filling and evening out the tie stuffing, fill a small bottle with beans and put at the small end of the tie for the Rattlesnake's rattle. Hot glue twine all around it.

4. Add your googly eyes and your felt tongue!
